A Trip to Wimberly: Part 1

We are now in our third trimester, which means the cut off date for Maddie to travel is coming up. So, we packed up the Jeep and made a small getaway for our baby moon and headed to Wimberly, TX.

Jared found this adorable cottage right in the heart of downtown. We left early Monday morning so that we could watch the eclipse over lunch. Then we paroosed a few of the stores before checking in and taking a little nap.

Being a small town, most of their traffic comes on the weekends meaning many of the restaurants and shops were closed on Monday. So we headed to San Marcos and hit up a couple of the retail outlets before eating at Olive Garden for dinner. 

All in all, a fun, relaxing day in the hill country.
