We Believe in bringing the family together
Sometimes trying to figure out how to spend time as a married couple or as a family is really difficult. What should we do? What is something everyone would love? Can we afford it? We stumbled on something we called Disneybounding our Life. This is where we choose a Disney movie each week to watch. Then, we come up with an activity to go along with that movie.
Some weeks we go big. Other weeks we keep it chill. But we always make sure we are having fun and connecting as a family.

It’s another Disneybounding our Life episode! This one takes us to the ballpark!
This month we watched Angels in the Outfield…and oldie but a goodie! It was Reagan’s first time to the ballpark and we had…mixed results on how much she actually enjoyed the experience!
If you have followed our blog for any amount of time, you know that camping is a big part of our lives and this trip, we decided to go to a park with some great paddling in a unique area of the state!
Hello! It’s another Disneybounding our Life episodes and this one was one for the history books! We celebrated 50 years since landing on the moon!
We had a very interesting geocaching adventure to go along with this one. We keep joking…at least it makes a good story!
This month for Disneybounding our Life, we watched Secretariat and went horseback riding! It was such an amazing experience and we already know, if we can we want to go back!
One thing I love about Texas, is that it gets cold…but not New York cold! So while it is not Hawaii or California, we were able to enjoy camping, in basically a completely empty park!
Merry Christmas everyone! We hope you are all having a magical day with family and/or friends celebrating the birth of our Savior! This month we did lots of Christmas-y things and one of them was visiting ICE in conjunction with watching Frozen!
We finally got to attend the Lights Festival! After many months of waiting and rescheduling due to weather, we thought the lanterns were very, very magical! The rest of the night had mixed reviews…check them out on today’s blog!
As you are reading this, we are in Walt Disney World! But we thought we would share with you how we prepared for this trip and Disney specific things we packed!
This week, Maddie may have a new favorite movie (I know…SHOCKER 😂) in Coco! We will be singing the music all week while trick-or-treating!
This week we went WAY back in time to learn an ancient board game to go along with watching Brave!
Quack, quack, quack, QUACK! We were cheering for our local hockey squad this week! But they were not the ducks like in this week’s movie…
This week we had a unique adventure…one that you may be able to join us on as we go forward!
If you don’t know, we are huge Aggie fans! And so we decided this week’s activity was going to be something we do, quite often! Sit down with a family meal of chili, a good dessert and watch the Aggies play!
This week, we oooohed and aaaaahhhed at some amazing gems and minerals at the Perot Museum! And, of course, had fun seeing the rest of this really interactive museum too!
Surprise! Our internet decided to cooperate with us! This week we had a really fun and different challenge that had us giggling like little kids!
This week we went to the library…with books! Any guesses on the movie that went along with this one?
Small airports have a very special place in our heart. So for National Aviation Day, we headed out to our small airport and ate at one of our favorite places, The Beacon Cafe!
This week was really special for our family as we headed up to Maine and got to see Maddie’s Uncle’s vintage car restoration shop!
This week we watched one of our favorites, Lilo and Stitch! And we decided to catch a Hawaiian Rollercoaster Ride as our family activity!
We went down to Houston this week to visit with family and while we were at it, we all drove to the NASA Johnson Space Center! Being the nerdy kid who wanted to be an astronaut, Maddie was so excited to go back and tour this facility!
Hullabaloo...Caneck, Caneck! This week we watched Monster's University! Which naturally, made us nostalgic for our own alma mater, Texas A&M University!
For our Disney Countdown this week, we went under the sea and explored the amazing Dallas World Aquarium!
We’re back! And we had an incredible week watching the new Incredibles 2 movie! Also, our baby may have developed super powers…

For this episode we went back in time and watched Back to the Future! A rule breaker from a Disneybounding perspective, but we had fun doing this one as it is one of our favorite movies!
